avi. file too large too burn?

    avi. file too large too burn?

    I have downloaded a couple of movies of the net and want to burn them onto a DVD but when i try the files are too large even on a DVD. I dont know what to do about it. I am a complete beginner....any advice??

    You need to change the avi files to mpeg2 this makes them DVD compatible files.Then if there still to big they need to be 4.38GB or less compress them.

      u can burn the DVD bigger than 4,38Gb in your HD and then Shrink the content using DVDShrink and afterall burn the DVD. results are great, i do myself this before.

        Lower the bitrate when you encode the AVI's for DVD.
