I've been doing some shopping and research for an affordable way to burn analog video onto DVD. I've been using the ADS video USB adaptor, but the max resolution is 640 x 480 and I keep getting dropped frames.
I found ADS Pyro AV-Link Video Capture Device which connects to a firewire card and can get the higher DV resolution. Everything I've read says that it won't drop frames and it does a great job at syncing audio and video (another problem I have).
Does anyone use this device or have heard anything good or bad about it. I just ordered it from Tiger Direct, so hopefully it will work well!
Thanks,
Leee
