want to know Basics of DVD burning

Hi..

I am new to this forum. I have a 8x DVD burner( i got Nero burning software along with the DVD burner) and 2X DVD media with me. i have downloaded DVD shrink software from the internet . Now i wanted to Burn some movies . I would like to to know the procedure for burning.

Can any one guide me..???
