please help if u can ... i use encrypter 3.2.3.0. then shrink 3.1.7.6. with nero 6 updated with 6.3 and with some dvds i get the same error as below

i have updated the firmware at pioneer site and have read through forum for clues and fixes ... did the reinstall of nero and shrink .. after which 2 burns of different dvds were success and the third dvd a fail with this error below

i have 512 ram and wasnt running any other progs or on the net when this last error occured .. have burnt 20 good dvds since i started a few days ago and probly 5 or 6 bad ones with this error ... am using princo 4x blanks

i did manage to burn success after a fail once but have had repeat fails on same burn as well ... it has happened with both re author and full ... sob

hope this all makes sense (pun sense key)

2) Try a higher quality brand of media - such as Ritek

thanx setarip ... will try burning at 2x and get back ... going to look for how to change the burn speed

so the Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)
means a hiccup and nothing to do with unlocking or cracking ?

nero will only go to 4x burn so will have to put all on hold until i can try some different blanks .. thanks for help so far

hey caramelfudge having pretty much the same as you but unable to burn anything i am jhelmer on first page burning and backup

jhelmer ... am sad for u .. crikey (aussie expression of omg) .. 10 or so blanks spat bad and the rest on spindle of 50 backed up a dream .. thank u setarip .. u gave me the courage to burn regardless !! ritek on order

what did you do to get working where are you getting ritek also when you ck infotool for nero is your system aspi missing if so are you still burning

i didnt do anything else to get working .. just kept burning till the bad blanks ran out and the good ones on the spindle burnt clean
