Can't read burnt "DVD-decrypter" DVD

I have decrypted a dvd to my hard drive as a file. I use Nero 6 ult. to burn to a DVD +R but cannot read the DVD in a player nor can I view the properties via windows xp. I have updated my Memorex Dual Format DVD Recorder, I have the latest Nero 6 and have a patch for MEmorex and Nero. I have tried burn at once as on or off and I have changed the writing speed to the same as my 2.4x DVD +R media. All results in a DVD that has become unusable. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

What brand of media do you use?

I have since chosen a better DVD +R (Verbatim 8x) and this seems to have corrected the problem.
