Samsung DVD R/RW SH-W08A

hi i am currently runningon windows xp pro with a Samsung DVD R/RW SH-W08A and i have the latest firmware and drivers for it. i have the newest dvd shrink also, but i am having an issue:

when i press open cd it tells me there is no cd in my dvd r/rw drive - when infact there is a blank dvd in it, i have burned on these dvds before and they are + and are compatible with my dvd burner it is a +/-

has anyone run into this before?

What program do you use for burning with DVDShrink? Nero/DVDDecrypter?

neither, i use dvd shrink to burn. i made a newbie tutorial at www.westbowles.com/dvd
it wont be up for long, but that shows exactly how i got it to work. i had a few computer issues before, and i reformatted, so everything owrks good now. thanks for the help cynthia
