Does dvd shrink make exact copies like dvd x copy?

Just to clarify, are you having trouble with a standalone dvd player or watching it on a tv through your pc?

I got dvd shrink and everything works perfectly plays great on my tv. It must be a problem with the dvd x copy software. i was trying to play a burned backup copy of one of my dvd's on just a normal sony dvd player to my t.v. But with the new program everything is working great i thank you all for your help in resolving my problem THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
