    Software Or Hardware?

I recently purchased a LiteOn DVD-/+ R/RW 16X 1633S Burner and I have had intermittent success in burning DVD's. I am using DVD Shrink with Nero 6.6 (the latest) and also DVD Decryptor (recommended by creators of DVD Shrink).

When I first purchased it I was able to create a DVD using Roxio 6, but I couldn't burn DVD's at all. I set my regional setting on my burner to USA and I downloaded a firmware update for "More Media" and I was successful in burning about 6 DVD's on the 6th of DEC. Well after that I have had the same issues again which are "Illegal Disc" errors. I downloaded the latest update for my burner again but I am unable to complete a successful burn. I am using Princo's 4X DVD-RB DVD's.

Out of a 50 Disc spindle, I have only successful burned maybe 10 DVD's and I have about 18 left.

Can someone offer some suggestions, cause I am open to just about anything right about now.

    Chris

Princo is very tricky to burn if your burner don't like them. Try to burn them at a slower speed.

Okay Cynthia, I'll try that. What I do love about Princo's are the fact that most DVD Players recognize them.

The only thing I loved about the Princo's was the price. But you get what you pay for...
