Everyones computer is different, there is no "set" time to encode and burn. What might take me 40 minutes to encode, might take you 15 minutes on the same DVD depending on several critical factors & vise versa. Some critical factors may be, but not limited to CPU speed, Memory, RAM, What other programs are running in the background, what else you are doing on the computer while is encoding and burning( that is also called "multi-tasking"), there honestly is far too many to list. -
Like I said every DVD is different, therefore the analyzing and encoding times will differ. Just a ballpark number for me is, hour to hour and a half to analyze and encode using DVD Shrink, and 15 to 25 min to burn using Nero Burning ROM. Keep in mind those, are usually DVD-9 disc's or higher therefore requiring much compression to fit on a DVD+R Disc-5 and I use Deep Analysis on every disk that needs compression.Comment
