What version of Windows do you have?

Have you tried to click the "Reinstall Driver" button ?

i have and it will try and then tell me it can't....XP Pro with sp2 update on it

And you rebooted after uninstalling the drivers?

yep and say that new hardware was detected and then the problem happens also when i put in a dvd movie it dosen't ask me what i would like to run it with it automatically opens up like it was reading a cd

If your motherboard is equipt with Nvidia drivers - update them.

Ok Cynthia I might have to kiss you.....I did what you said and then rebooted when my computer restarted there was no error cool....then I checked the hardware and the 2 ! and both IDE are gone The SS will show everything just wanted to know if everything will be ok if those 2 are gone???
