"backup my copy of friday night lights, not a copy. that guy doesnt know what hes talking about."

"That guy" most certainly DOES know what he's talking about. When DVD Decrypter rips a copy protected disc, it will reflect the alphanumeric keycodes it encounters (and uses to decrypt) each segment it tries to decrypt. The repetitive "N/A" references in the log you've sub, itted indicate that thers are NO encryption keys on the disc that you've fed to DVD Decrypter...

I know that this thread is a few weeks old, but I've noticed that the original poster stated that he/she has anydvd running in the background while trying to back-up this disc. Anydvd could be the cause for the css key not showing in the dvd decryptor log.

With DVD43free running in the background, the log also will say n/a where the key would normally be.

        To Swintsky

You are absolutely correct - and "orangedrink" is deserving an apology from me, "cynthia" and the"guy" that "cynthia" quoted.

Based on your keen insight, it also now becomes apparent (I, for one, completely overlooked the reference to DVD43) that "orangedrink" should have been advised to turn off DVD43(or DVD43Free) when using DVDDEcrypter, as conflicts have been noted...
