i assume you want it in mpeg-1. it may not be in mpeg-1 compliant form. a program called tmpgenc will convert it to suit nero's needs nicely(freeware)

OK. Thanks Columbo , I have it now into the correct video form. But It split the audio and video. Nero will not reconize the audio as a .wav file now. How should I get the audio to be compatible with Nero.. what form :mpe.. wav..
      Thanks for anyhelp.

Ok I used all the default settings with TMPGEnc and It split the audio as a wav file , and the video as an M2V file. How do I use Nero to burn it. Do I use the "Burn DVD video files" ? option or Is there another step I am missing ?
            I am sorry . I am a little slow at this .
            Thanks for your help

unless you have a need for it, in tmpgenc deselect the option at the end of the setup for audio/video elementary streams. it will produce a single file.

by the way, since you want this on dvd you will have to author the file created by tempgenc with dvd authoring software.

i use tmpgenc dvd author 1.6, but it isn't free. search this forum and the web for any free dvd authoring programs.

ok . It is now putting it into one single file as a "Movie file (mpeg) " . I have tryed it this way befor . and Nero didnt reconize the file , And said it should be renamed as "video_ts.vob or video_ts.ifo " Should I have to rename it then ?

you will have to author the file created by tempgenc with dvd authoring software. this is why nero is giving you the error message.
are you using nero express? i believe that with nero burning rom it will do this for you before it burns it, but don't expect anything fantastic when it comes to quality.

you are using now "tmpgenc dvd author"? and have already made the single file from "tmpgenc"?

Yes , I bought a copy of the tmpgenc authoring software. I have also got a converted file from tmpgenc. So just "create new fiel" and make a menu.. then begin output?

essentially yes, you'll find it easy to use. when it is done, use that file created to burn with nero.

OK. A DVD WRITE TOOL window has popped up. Do I use it to burn it , or stick with nero 6 express?
