    freezing dvd

    hi guys need your help
    burning dvd-r's on nec 3500 successful every time but when played on stand alone player they freeze in parts its only started happening never had a problem before heres the nero log file if that helps

    Don't use bitsetting / book mark on -R media.

      i didnt no i was using bitsetting
      how do i fix it?maybe ive changed a setting in nero and not known

            It should be selectable if you choose your burner and the options in that menu.

                I'd use physical disk type (this should pick up the fact that it's a -R) - if you set the bookmark on a DVD-R, you run a big risk of making a coaster.

                Also, your media isn't being recognised properly (see all those 00's?). You also might want to reduce burning speed to 4x, verify your burn and don't use adhesive labels (if you are).

                      hi guys this is the latest on my problem i installed earlier version of nero 6.0.0.0 ultra edition and everything seems to be fine or may you could take a look at the nero log and tell me if its ok
                      this version doesnt have the book type options is that ok many thanks 1 and all

                        v6.0.0.0 has always been reported as notoriously buggy ... but if it works for you, all well and good.
                        Is the burn ok?
                        If not, you may be suffering the common problem of dodgy media, even if same brand as before.

                        This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!
