    dvd decrypter

i have backup usin dvd shrink and dvd decrpter..the difference is that dvd drink produces an iso file that is abt 4GB and dvd decrpter produces 2 files - an iso(7-8GB) and an mdf file..i prefer to use decrypter which backup faster but why does it produces 2 files( what is the mdf file for?) and how do i reduce the size of the file that the dvd decrypter produces? thanks

It's in the name ... DVD Shrink

The mdf is I believe some kind of information file for FAT16 systems.

        Look at the guide!

Compressing 7Gb down to 4.37 is a heck of a lot. It should work but there'll be a quality reduction

Depending on how much compression you are using with DVD Shrink among alot of other factors DMA, CPU Speed, etc. will greatly affect how fast or slow it is.
