True, based on postings in this forum - rebadged (OEM) drivers are more problematic than originals.

The teac is the internal DVD burner that is part of my laptop. It's weird because I can do anything else with it, burn CDs, Copy DVDs to my computer, etc. It just won't burn DVDs anymore. I got out my Old Liteon external Dvd burner that I used with my last laptop since it didn't have a DVD burner. It worked fine. I am able to now burn DVDs again. Thanks guys for all the help!

You might try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your internal burner. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US...
