I have a LITEON LDW-811S. I want to know how I can burn at 8x instead of 4x. I think I need to upgrade firemware or something... Can someone help me out?

What is the current firmware version you have now?

I guess I was wrong and its LDW-851S with firmware version GS0C. Ya I believe its OEM.

You are 5 firmware versions behind. The latest firmware version for that drive is "GS0P". - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1734
