Why? I'm not having any trouble from Nero. What will it do that Nero won't?

Low CPU usage, easy log to follow so burn with it will last your cpu more

by that logic, you better never use rebuilder

at least cpu's have no moving parts to wear out, heat is the main issue

              Steve,

I have NERO also ... but it is night and day difference between NERO and ImgBurn burns ... try same ISO files and burn once with NERO and once with ImgBurn and see for yourself.

I have seen people mod cases and put extra fans in the top and/or side of the case. Try just leaving the cover off.

                    DVD Identifier & DVD info

Have you guys checked out these two tools? They can be found by following the link from Post#1. There pretty cool, the DVD Identifier will tell you the true maker of your blanks.

                        New 16x Dvd Media

Verbatim and Fujifilm have new 16x DVD-R Media....using my Sony 710a burner....neither Decrypter or Roxio programs will burn these. Programs read DISC NOT EMPTY...also writing speed is only 1X, 2X or 4X. I've been trying to use these discs on and off in the past year, thinking it might have been a bad batch. Anyone esle have or hear of this problem.
