    Burning/Ripping

I am very computer dumb. I can copy a DVD to my hard drive ok. I have been told to download dvd shrink, dvd ripper, dvd decrypter.I have sonic record now. I still can't figure out how to make them all work together and make a playable burned dvd. If you can help I would greatly be very thankful. I am a newbie..

Thank you for your time and help. I was just following you "dvd shrink for dummies". When I got down to "burning your back up, my dvd shrink if very different, I don't have the 5 tabs. What version of shrink are you running? Thanks Lee

in version 3.2 click help, help topics, guides. since your new, you should only need dvd shrink to back-up a film, depending on the title/copy protection. most of my back-ups i can do with only dvd shrink.

        good luck

Thank you so much for your help. I only have one more question. I seem to have some back ups too large for the disc, is that common? Even after re-authoring it just to main section. thank again Lee

you have to compress it enough to fit on the disc dvd5, auto or custom. normal? typicaly yes.
