    .AVI file to DVD Shrink

I would like to know the easiest way to make my .avi files burnable with DVD Shrink, so i can watch it on my DVD player.
If there are any programs that are needed please give me links where i can get the program and were i can use a guide. Also, i want to combine two halves of an .AVI file together, how can i combine two files?
    Thank You.

to combine 2 avi files together, use "virtualdubmod"... guide to the simple functions of the program can be found here: http://www.doom9.org/virtualdub_procedures.htm

to convert an avi to dvd, i recommend "tmpgenc". it can encode your files to dvd-compliant mpeg2 files. software can be found here: http://www.tmpgenc.net/

and guide can be found here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/arch...avi_to_dvd.cfm

to author (setup files for burning), use "tmpgenc dvd author"

    OR

all of this can be done with one program: "nerovision express", which is part of the nero burning rom suite. i must advise, though, that my experience with the program has often resulted in rather poor picture quality and audio/video synch problems...

it all sounds very difficult, but is actually quite easy once you get the hang of it
