Hi everyone, I wanted to ask you for HELP!!!!
I bought an LG GWA-416B DVD burner, and put it into one of those external cases so that I can use it via USB and carry it around. I have been completely unable to burn DVDs!
I created an ISO image of a DVD I wanted to backup, and I have tried burning it with NTI CD&DVD maker, as well as with Nero 6 and DVD-Decrypter. I get the same problem in all of them: after a minute or so the software reports things such as "Unspecified Target Error" or in DVD decrypter:
"Invalid field in CDB"
"Failed to write sectors 292000-292031 No additional Sense Information"
I also tried with different brands of blank DVDs, including Imation and Egital, and I also tried burning them at 4x but it didn't work either! And I tried also to burn a data DVD and didn't work either!
I also tried using the burner both on my laptop and my desktop, so it's not a computer issue (My desketop is an Athlon XP 2600+ with 512 in RAM and over 15Gigas left on the hard drive, and my laptop is a Sempron 3000+ with 768 in RAM and an external 120G hard drive).
Anyone has any ideas? Please!!!
