Nero burns, but can't read DVD

I recently bought a Fantom burner, using Nerovision Express 6.3.1.26. When I use Nero Recode, it goes through the whole process of burning the DVD video without errors and pops open the drawer at the end. However, I can't play the dvd; it isn't recognized by any drive (including the Fantom) or dvd player. I am using RiData 8X DVD+R discs. Thanks in advance!

Not sure if Nerovision Express saves the burn logs in to this file C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log - but if you the latest burning report there - can you post that one? It would tell us something about your system.
