The disk goes ahead and burns, but then it only plays for about ten minutes and the scene selection features freeze up.I tried popping it into different DVD players, no go.I'm gonna give it another shot."

I just tried opening DVD Decrypter (while there was nothing in my drive) and i got this error:
I/O Error!
Scsi Status:0x02

So i don't know what the hell thats all about.Other than Roxio are there any other programs that could give me any trouble such as a MusicMatch Jukebox or anything?I'm currently trying to read all the FAQ's posted on this board."I'm not crazy..I'm Just Thirsty"Comment

Afterthought PT2:
Something else thats driving me nuts is the fact that a few days ago i used an old version of Nero to burn the movie "Hostage".Shrank it and then just clicked and dragged the files into the video ts folder and it worked fine.but every other friggin thing i've done hasn't worked. Why was i able to burn one dvd so darn easy and everything else fails over and over. ah well, i'm ranting, back to the experimenting i go."I'm not crazy..I'm Just Thirsty"Comment

ok heres my latest attempt.I went into dvd shrink, backup, then selected my backup target as: Iso Image File and Burn with DVD Decrypter. Then as usual and always it failed while writing the lead-in and i got this:
I/O ERROR!
Device:[0:0:0]Memorex DVD 16+/-DL4RWID2JWS6 (H) (USB)
SCSI STATUS:0x02
INTERPRETATION:CHECK CONDITION

everything appeared compressed and decrypted. So I dunno.I get Illegal disk errors thru Nero and shrink and now this with decrypter.I'm one bummed out dude.
God i need serious help here."I'm not crazy..I'm Just Thirsty"Comment

And, the conflicts which have been reported supposedly are due to some of the drivers that Roxio installs having a conflict with some of the drivers that Nero installs. In some cases, these were drivers that replaced a Microsoft driver that came with Windows. Those drivers are often used by Windows even when you are not necessarily running their particular software. And, they may not uninstall, since you need the drivers for OTHER purposes, sometimes...
As I mentioned, there are LOTS of people who have both running, with no problem. Literally thousands. But, there are too many who do have a problem; Nero describes it as a problem only on "certain systems." And, the most common reported symptom of the conflict (from what I have read) is the report of an "illegal disc" early in a burning process, immediately after the initial "lead in" has been written.
