Hey all..A friend has suggested we try Roxio to burn cd as well as dvds, I already have nero 6 and am just wondering what you guys think of Roxio? is it any good?

the roxio? I was kinda thinking that as well I am really happy using nero to burn my dvds (or dycrpyter at times as well) and when I am making a cd I just use media player. By the way thanks for the move!

Yeah - We have it on Firey's laptop here and it is awful - worse than ner0...a lot worse.

i agree, roxio isn't very good at all, the last time i used it was back in 2001 i think, at version 5. i picked up a demo of nero a week later, never looked back

The NEW Roxio package got a pretty good review in the current PC World. One of the things it has is a tool that lets you make audio only DVDs that the DVD player thinks are regular movie DVDsComment

all right Derree,let me tell you what i really think.
round 10 years ago i was using easy cd creator(now Roxio) and was very cool.
i had the old versions of nero too(i think that i still have all nero versions)
this 2 programs was very good in this time.
when intalling this programs together was giving big isuues and the whole "people" in the forums start to post that ecdcreator was guilty and create one bad fame for that product.i remeber that ahead create one file to use this programs together to remove that issues.
now nero have more users and more fame but i can trust that Roxio is good too and have good features but the old bad fame remains,nothing more.
