Does this mean there is something wrong with my nero or am I doing something else wrong? I used Pgcedit to open it up and then DVDShrink went through its process but it could not burn.

I did use the wizard and this error was the result of it.

If you use the wizard - enabling the third option in the cleaning phase - Full DVD should solve this problem. But it's not easy to know - when you find the error first after that DVD Shrink is done. And it's not possible to redo just that step once more in the wizard without a new rip.

Solution if you want to burn with Nero:

          Start FixVTS
Drag a .vob file (doesn't mather which one) on to FixVTS from the folder you want to burn
          Press the 'Full DVD' button
          Solved

You can also see section 8.1 in this guide for pictures on how to do it.

I had the same problem with this movie. It seemed to me that both FixVTS and VobBlanker were deleting the missing 'VIDEO_TS.VOB' file, as it was there before the cleanup or manually using FixVTS, and wasn't present afterward. I just skipped the cleanup phase and canceled when the wizard asked me to choose either Fix or Vob for the cleanup. I am currently backing it up now, and it is actually burning to the disk. before, it would stop at the end of encoding just before burning. I'll repost if the movie comes out okay or not.

                @ Cynthia

When do you do the FixVTS you showed? I tried it within the wizard to no effect, and then I canceled the wizard once it reached that step and dragged it over manually, but it still didn't work. If that file is integral, why does it get deleted?

If you use the wizard and in the cleaning phase

and you select the unticked option 'Process all DVD files' it should solve the problem with the menu file. The menu file(s) are only processed if you select that option.

When you have the image on your screen - press Alt Gr + Prt Scr

Then I past it into Windows Photo Editor and save it as a .png file.

You can then use www.imageshack.us to upload the .png file

To post it here - use the [img] [/img] functions.
