    Fujifilm 8x DVD+R

Are these DVD+R's any good? I thought all writeable DVDs were the same, but then again I don't know too much about 'em. Just wondering since they are on major sale this week at a local electronics store. Thanks.

If these discs are made in Japan, they are among the best media available.

      What mediacode they have?

If you don't know what is mediacode, use DVD Identifier to know it

Not sure...I haven't bought them yet. I take it there's no way to tell unless you buy them and run the test?

well verbatim 16x +R is always mcc 004
and in a few places TY is branded
ridata is ritek mided, but lower quality and inconsistent

I can add that verbatim -R is always MCC 03RG20

The only exception is verbatim pearl white series: they haven't any MCC mediacode.

If I'm not wrong, pearl white series should be RITEK G05 discs.
