Are these DVD+R's any good? I thought all writeable DVDs were the same, but then again I don't know too much about 'em. Just wondering since they are on major sale this week at a local electronics store. Thanks.

the fuji made in tawain is grade B at best, the made in japan +R's are

If these discs are made in Japan, they are among the best media available.
What mediacode they have?

well verbatim 16x +R is always mcc 004
and in a few places TY is branded
ridata is ritek mided, but lower quality and inconsistentComment

I can add that verbatim -R is always MCC 03RG20
The only exception is verbatim pearl white series: they haven't any MCC mediacode.Comment
