I had read somewhere that the sample rate (inside Nero CD-DVD speed) for an LG gsa4163b burner had to be changed so that an NEC 3550A could scan it properly for PI's. I search the forums with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Since the LG's don't scan, I will assume you are talking about the registry tweak to change the scanning interval from 8ecc to 1 ecc for the nec 3550.
Don't bother, the nec 3550's have a varied scanning potential. I got one that's decent, what you do is burn a near perfect disk at 8x with premium media then scan at 5x, 8x, and 12x, which ever looks best is the speed you should scan at. Ignore high PIE's! Concentrate on the PIF's.
