    Help with burning a DVD

Can anyone help me recently I've started to encounter problems burning certain DVD's, the first one was "Sliding Doors" and just today it's "Garfield The Movie", it's seems to back it up ok, start to go through the process of burning it but stops after it's written the lead in and fails the writing process completely...can anyone give advise how to overcome this????

Hi thanx for replying, I used DVD Shrink to back it up, everything went well with that process no error messages.

You can usually see the blank disc id code in your burning software, either in the log, or as one of the outputs of the initial scan of the disk.
