Hi..can someone please translate this Nero log for me. I have Fuji 16X DVD-R's and every single one, and I'm not exagerating, every single one turns into a coaster. I've gone through about 30 of them now so I thought I'd post the last Nero log. If anyone can help me, please let me know. Thanks....

In my opinion there are two probable causes:

1) these media are really bad (and they are not the best for sure if these fuji are not made in Japan)
2) this firmware (you use the one modified by C0deKing, isn't it?) don't manage correctly these media.

You can do two things:

1) Restore the original firmware to see if this solve
2) Try a different media.

You might want to try burning at 4X, then move up in speed from there until you encounter a error.

Updating firmware may resolve this problem. Basically Nero is saying your DVD writer doesn't like that brand of media.

I saw very brilliant results with this firmware, but too bad the only way to answer to this question is to do some try.

Keep in mind that liteon drives have a feature that allow them to "learn" from previous burnings, but this feature need at least 4-5 burnings to work correctly. Using good quality media is a good rule for sure.

I agree also with jmet suggestions. I don't like packet writing softwares like InCD, because they gave to me only problems.

Sometimes also reflashing the firmware can solve issues.

Another thing that can be useful for you is a reset of the eeprom, to delete learnt media. Resetting learnt media can be your solution because maybe in your drive there are learnt media with the official firmware, and maybe your burner need to redo all learnings with the patched firmware.
