    Nero is a bummer

Here is my burn log. I will say this. I tried to burn only one chapter VOB file. Even if I load all of the DVD's files onto Nero I get an error message. This is what I got for trying only the one VOB file(Chapter 2 of a DVD).

Not sure what your purpose with this burning is. If you are going to play the clip on your stand alone player this file must be there.

You can't just take some parts of the rip and burn them. I suggest you load the ripped files thru DVD Shrink and make a reauthor and let DVD Shrink output the parts you want. After that there should be no problems burning the clip with Nero.

I figured I was doing it all wrong by trying to burn just a VOB file without the IFO files as well. Going to get DVDshrink and try it out. My whole purpose, as stated in a previous thread, is to take frames of a show/movie and save them to use on a t-shirt.

      Thanks Cynthia. Excuse my ignorance....

if the VOB file is on your pc already that contains the frame(s) you want, just use virtualdubMOD to create the stills. then you can simply make a data disc with nero saving the images. it's free and takes only seconds.

load the VOB, then go to video>snapshot source frame>save as
