Gone in 60 Seconds - Issues

Needless to say, Gone in 60 Seconds is not the greatest movie out there, but, I have tried to burn it lately, and it's just not working for me. I've ripped using File Mode on Decrypter, then DVD Shrink with and without 'compress video with high quality adaptive error compensation' turned on, and then ImgBurn to burn at 2x with both Philips and Taiyo media - neither disc is readable by my DVD player, it loads up, and then makes crackling noises looking for 'Info'.

I just burned Good Night Good Luck, Italian Job, and Yes Men with no issues (i.e. somewhat rules out the idea of bad media in my mind), so I've surprised that Gone in 60 Seconds has given me issues. Attached are both the rip and burn logs, and help would be apppreciated.

Try using Fix VTS after the rip. It will clean up any bad VOB's. That has worked for me on a few occassions. You can download it here.

I'm sure others will have better insight, though. Good Luck!

I gave Fix VTS a try, and I got the same result - the DVD player reads the disc in, and then ends up searching for 'INFO', and makes crackling noises as it goes, I end up having to power the DVD player down and then up again to get the disc to eject.

try r+ and set to rom, your player may just read dvd-rom, or buy another player that can read r+ and r-

Given the other factors, and this information, I'm thinking that there might be something wrong with the disc itself (it has some scratches on it) - could that prevent me from successfully ripping and burning it, despite Decrypter, Shrink, and ImgBurn not reporting any errors?

This sounds as pure burning related issue.
