well,i have nec 2510a,alway served me well,and i never had any reasons to change it,but i find it very confusing when i try to rip a dvd to my disc,and i get error . no seek complete etc - so im not able to rip it
then later i come back home and try it again,and it rips without any problems!why does it change its "oppinion" of the same sectors of the discs...
also sometimes if i put a dvd into nero dvdspeed scandisc first time i get bad/damaged areas on 11%,nex time 4 exmpl on 15%,and third time it shows no bad/damaged sectors!
also when burning with imgburn,sometimes i get a message that locking for exclusive access failed or similar...once i clicked ignore and it burnt the movie without any problems....
