Way over my head with the W98 stuff, I had XP and had long ago
switched to ntfs before I got into this stuff 3 years ago.

I just backed up. Used Shrink then DVDD. I used the Benq as the reader. It prompted me to choose a Region Code. Code #1 USA. It then prompted me that I will only have four left. Will this happen each time?

nope, just stick with usa dvd's, you'll be fine

edit: never figured out why the rest of the world needs to wait so long for a movie

I found the answer to my win98se folder capitalization problem.

Open the folder in question and clicking on VIEW>FOLDER OPTIONS>VIEW and checking the box at the top that says ALLOW ALL UPPERCASE NAMES then click APPLY>OK.
It works!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problems with LG GSA-4167B

Hi there,

at first please excuse my bad english German ....
I use a LG with case for USB. I have problems to burn DVDs with Nero 6.6.0.7. The burning process stopped in meantime about 40% or so on...
I have downloaded new firmware to upgrade from DL10 to DL12 or DL13.
But everytime I get the message:
"Updating was failed. Please repeat that. (Error data = 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 10 3B 14 00 0E 24 00 00 C0 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 )"
Anybody an idea

Make sure you turn off Firewall, Virus Protection, Screensaver function and any other program running in background.

Try it again.

At least I have changed the burning program NERO in V.7
Nothing.... Just I have only 3 DVDs to try out Your next tip
