Of course PgcEdit is NP I mentioned above, most of these are oldies no ARccOS™, RipGard etc .... the post above (Little Einsteins) might have confused things (SORRY) I was just toasting r0lZ and madmonk .... it was a movie I recently picked up for the son ....

I go straight to Nero cuz it is a little faster .... and I never had a prob on any of my players. As mentioned above this only came to light cuz some didn't play on a friend's standalone, most did after further testing .... so the only thing that came to mind was the "Allocation WARNING"....

Blu are you sayin I need to run FixVTS on all titles, even the oldies. Cuz it didn't exist prior to ARccOS™, Yes ? Now I know I need to run it on the NEW stuff like the one I posted above. Most of the time I just do "Kill Playback" .....

I guess I will do the test I mentioned above in previous post on a known non-playable (on friends only DVD). Make it with PgcEdit/mkisofs.exe via ImgBurn and see if it plays.

While I got your attention do you always put the 32k gaps in ? Could that be the issue as I don't ? ? ? SHHould I, Wood Eye, Could ! LOL !!!!

Cuz just as you mentioned mine play fine too !!!! So I will run this current title through FixVTS and see if any change, BTW, I know I'll get the ****e for this, my wife's selection "Darin's Dance Grooves" .... go ahead let me have it, I can take it !!!! LOL

No, I'm not saying you have to. Just wondered if you did. Check the folders to make sure the files are OK and there's no file duped. Open the files in DVD Shrink and see if it loads the project. Usually DVD Shrink is good at catching real errors. Try PgcEdit, too.

No, if I get it I use it and the warning goes away. Only one time recently if I recall.

Ahh yes, sorry, forgot to mention I do remove (or move) the Pgcedit bakup folders out of the way as I know that a different error comes up when it sees:

VIDEO_TS
PgcEdit_backup

Are Under the PArent folder...when doing a RIGHT Click and selection "Copy Compilation" in the right pane.

If I browse down to the VIDEO_TS and Ctrl+A and Drag over ... it works fine with the above folder structure

Also NO dupes, that's NOT allow and I know better .... SPANK !!!!!

PS: What's this server too busy crap ... I'm tryin to get some help here, maybe thye got doe's Serial Drives hooked up wrong .... ROTFLMFAO !!!! At least I didn't lose everyhing I typed....boy do I hate dat crap !!!!

Make sure your PgcEdit and FixVTS are up to date. Also the plugin is v2.14

Well the FixVTS fixed it ...... jm1647 .... I'm almost POSITIVE I tried this before and got the same Allocation error ... I will post back here if I find one that does NOT work ....

Blu, what about the 32k gap I mentioned above, how important, do you always have it turned on and if so how/what do you burn with to maintain the gaps... I read some of your previous posts where you discussed this with I forgot who .... sorry !

And FixVTS is your first line of defence against, not only ARccOS, but badly authored DVDs. After that, VobBlanker and then the big mama - IfoEdit mock strip.

Does Nero strip out the gaps, I think that's what I remeber reading, what safely keeps the gaps PgcEdit/mkisofs.exe via ImgBurn ? Shrink (Ithought yuo are someone siad no), if not Shink what tool for compressing keeps the 32k gaps ? Would my favorite happen to keep them -- CloneDVD2 ?

PS I will start using FixVTS on everything !!!!

Yes, that's one good reason not to use Ner0. Best burn method is PgcEdit --> ImgBurn. Free of cost and bugs.

Not that I had a problem, but I'm seeig that NOW !!!!!

What about the compressors, which keep the 32k gaps ? See post above again I was editing (Sorry) !!!

Would not expect CloneDVD or any other transcoder to keep them, as these progs write their own IFOs. The only prog which I know that tinkered with them was DVD Rebuilder, but I think it discontinued the practice for some reason.

After shrinking/cloning, simply take the output folder and load it up in PgcEdit. Make sure the 32k option is set.

Click burn and away you go.
