I would say it's confirmed that these are crap I wish I would have known better to stay away from them live and learn I guess .I am going to start copying the Sony back ups to Verb discs it's hard telling how long they will be playableComment

Ripped bad D11 to HD with DVDD, burned to Sony YUDEN000 T02 @ 8x with NEC 3550. Both scans and rip done with NEC.
(One problem area but good QS, PIF Total compared to D11 scan)

Sony D11. I am convinced that under 4G this media is great. Go past that and it's very questionable.Attached Files

In doing some more testing with the quality, I found this to be very interesting.
Ok I took a DVD that I backed up a while ago, I burned it on a Princo 4X disc burned it at 2.4X.
So what I did was I took that burned disc and ripped it as a .ISO and then reburned that .ISO onto a TY 8X disc at 4X even though the rip I burned on the TY was taken right of the Princo the results are VERY different.
this one is the Princo burn with my old optorite DD1205:
Here is the burn with my BENQ burned on a TY 8X burned at 4X taken from the Princo burn.
That almost makes me want to reburn everything I ever put on a Princo.
Yet when the DVD's play on my standalone I cant tell the difference.Last edited by photo_angel2004; 19 Jul 2006, 06:07 PM.Comment
