Here is a burn using Verbatium DVD and my new Sony Optaric DVD rom drive. It looks like a good burn. This disk was burned at 16x and scaned on the optaric drive.

Here is a second burn using Verbatium DVD and my new Sony Optaric DVD rom drive. It looks like a good burn. This disk was burned at 18x and scaned on the Samsung SH-162L at 8x same as above. This burn also looks good.

Here is a burn using Verbatium DVD and a Sony Optaric DVD rom drive. Burn speed was 18X. It was also scanned on the Optiarc at 8X. It is another good burn.

what happens when you select 8ecc as the scanning interval instead of 1 under the advanced option?

It was bought a while ago, the last disc of a 10 pack in jewel cases, I believe bought in a store here called Giant Tiger, (not an electronic store,). Sorry doctorhardware, the front door is unlocked. I do have 4 x 25 of these movie reel discs in spindles still left though.
