I believe that with the firmware version G7Z9, your DVD burner should be BenQ 1620. The version G7Z9 firmware is very old, please update to newer version G7V9 from the link below:

It's confused you because the letter Z in G7Z9 is supposed to be newer than the letter V in G7V9. AFAIK, according to the information I've learned, G7Z9 is a very old BenQ's firmware and G7V9 is the newest. You can see it yourself from here:
