It is a good deal, except I need +R. The sale on the 30pk lightscribe looks like a good deal tho, not as good, but good.
Mail in rebates are no problem as far as I'm concerned. I can wait for some $ back. Alot of people say they never get their rebates back but I have probably sent in 100 or more rebates in the past 5 years or so and have always received my rebate. From 2$ rebates from Staples and Menards to $250 from HP and Circuit City. Staples rebates are super easy too. Can do them on line, easy-peasy, japanesy! You just gotta make sure you do and fill out everything correctly!

When I bought my new pc last year there were 7 rebates for it. They totaled $490 all together. It was a bundle purchase, pc, lcd monitor, printer, wireless router. The rebates went to Lexmark, Circuit City, HP, and D-links. Some of them were 2 rebates to the same company (that needed to be sent seperately) and some were rebates that qualified for HP for purchase but also Circuit City if you bought item 1 and item 2 together. There were other double rebates like that. You needed orignal upcs from items that needed to be sent to 2 different companies. And you needed original receipts for every offer.
I bought it on Black Friday and the lines were so long they wouldn't give you the multiple original receipts you needed so you had to return at a later date to get them printed. I had a stack of receipts that you wouldn't believe when I was done. It took the customer service girl about 20 minutes to get them all together and explain to me how to finagle the issue about the dupllicate upc and excetera. (she was really good and courteous) It took me about an hour or so to get them all grouped together with what they needed and ready to mail.
Alot of people wouldn't go through all that and they know it. The computer was a pretty good price on sale without all the rebates and they hoped most people would just be satisfied with that. Was it worth it? I don't know but I was bound and determined to get the computer for the rebate price. Within about 2 months I received all my rebates.
We sell sometimes donate big amounts of coupons to groups/organizations for a good price. Why, because at least 1/3 of them don't ever get redeemed. It's a game played by many retailers.

Alot of people thought I was crazy going through all the hassle. Thought that the sale price was a good enough deal, but anybody that knows me knows I'm always looking for the best deal! Sales, clearance, and discontinued, I'm always looking. Full retail price, hardly ever touch it!

I just think it is a crock that the companies make you "jump thru hoops" to get your money back.Comment
