I just bought a brand new system to burn my handycam video tapes to PAL dvd, the system runs windows xp with sp2, liteon dvdrw shm-165p6s burner
when i first got it i checked the system info with nero and it said the dvd burner was region free, and i made a few PAL dvd's (mpeg2)
I then went a bit mad and got out all my old disks that come with the pc magazines, and i installed a few burner and player programs, just to see what they did.
NOW when i check the system info with nero it says the burner is a region 1 burner, and has 4 changes left, and when i burn my dvd's with the PAL settings it only produces NTSC dvds (mpeg1) , can any body please tell me how to set my burner back to region free
