    Copying DVD+r to DVD-R

I tried a Nero copy dvd and it worked but I think the copy is DVD+r even though I used a DVD-R dvd. Currently trying DVD Shrink and then burn again to DVD-R.

Am I missing something here and is it even possible to convert a VD+r to a DVD-R format ?

That's not an issue you have to concern yourself with - it's all handled by the burner. If you used a -R disk, then it's a -R disk. But there's nothing about the files stored on it that's -R.

you can convert per se. but copy and +r to a -r yes. if both formats work well for you, why bother?
