    Printer Question

Hello all, I recently purchase a Epson RX700, (was getting tired of the sharpie) and it seems to me that more folks are starting to do the same. Just a thought, maybe there could a section just about printers. I know this Forum is about backingup, but this is kinda related just a thought. Anyways here's my question. After getting the picture that I'm going to use and loading it into my printing program. It's more times than not a bit too small. So I have too stretch it a bit thus losing picture quality. What I'm doing wrong? Is this normal. Thanks in advance

What's your software ? is it Epson's Print CD ? If so GoTo BACKGROUND from the dialogue box choose FILE your chosen picture should import 'to fit' . I use this program with both my Epson 340 and R800 with excellent reults. Can't fault it.

(I think this tread will be moved) it's not in the right place

IMnotsoHO there's nothing off topic about this subject here. There's plenty of room in this subforum for taking pride in your work, some members seem to have perfected this part.

What res are you scanning or generating your artwork at? I always use 600dpi for disk printing & 300 for covers. When you import a larger (higher res) image, it will fit the largest dimension, maintaining the aspect ratio.
