Will my dvd burner burn DVD+R DL

Just wanted to know if my:


PHILIPS DVD+-RW SDVD8820 (is in my Dell XPS M140)

would burn this

PlayO DL DVD+R 2.4X 8.5GB Double Layer (PDLPR2410C)


If i would actally get more good dvds from more expensive DVD+R DL media, then let me know.
