they were mit, mij of that mid are in the usa are almost nonexistant
    anymore

if you get a bad mountain at 1.5 gigs with different batch of media, I would suspect the burner is bad

I'm using nero 7 and nero vision 4. I've made dvds before but for some reason it is not working anymore. I don't know how to exactly determine a problem from a log file but the error is after the transcoding is done it says burn process failed. I've tried write to hard disk folder, burn as image, and burn to dvd...none work. Here is log Any help would be appreciated

Husker, when your TY's come in, try a couple of them and see if you are getting the same results, as Chewy suggested. Then you will know if it is just the media you have now or it is the burner.

marines6241, Welcome to the Forum. I don't use Nero so I can't really help you, except for a suggestion, you may get better results and more help to your question if you start a new thread with a title that corresponds to your problem.

Now I'm confounded. I took a disc from about half way through the cake and burned at 2X and was able to score a 95. So either these need to be burned at a lower speed or I just ran into a bad run of discs.

bad disks in a spindle usually are grouped together?

burn another from same part of spindle at 8x?

Burned at 8x-tested at 2x. I originally ran the test at "max" and it errorrer out pretty bad. Then ran this test at 2x but burned it at 8x. Boy these things sure can be quirky

One other thing people dont usually think of is the quality of the power supply. If your machine freezes from time to time esp in games or intensive apps it's usually the psu!
