hi all newbie here was wondering if any of ya can help me i have a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-108 and im at a loss when burning anything with verbatim dvd-rw x4 discs HERES THE LOG OF ERROR

Carefully go thru and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Search for Pwwer Cal Error and have a read of "Ner0 burn errors" in my signature. See here.

Also, from memory, that CDRALW2K.SYS driver is a known conflict with Ner0.

hi there thanks for the reply and welcome i followed all the golden rules of burning but to no success i tried burning with a cheaper brand with no problems pcline dvd+r and it rcoreded music and a movie maybe just dosent like the better make

Maybe it's just a bad batch of Verbatim DVDs you got. BTW, from the search I found, firmware version 1.18 should be the newwst firmware for PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-108 and you currently have version 1.20. Did you update the firmware recently and download it from where?
