Is it better to write to dual layer disks or single. B/c I just figured out I have to have PgcEdit to write to DL's.

That would be a personal preference choice. Taking into account, what you are trying to accomplish. Compatibility with stand alone players would have to go to SL disc. The ability to copy the entire DVD at 1:1, would go to the DL disc. The price of your back ups, back to the SL disc, and so on. I use SL disc probably 97% of the time, the other 3% DL disc. The last movie I put on a DL disc was FD3, because I wanted to be able to use all the features of the disc, like changing the outcome of the people, but then again I also burned a SL disc of the theatrical version.
