Jimsabeach's TRF issue -- use search and post in correct forum please

Thank you for your patience and good hints. I have meticulously gone through most all the decrypter/shrink/nero error messages and have, I think, corrected most of them. However, I am still having severe problems.

The decoding seems to go through RI4M, decrypter and shrink ok but when it sets over to Nero for burn I get a variety of messages from my external I/O Magic 16x dual-layer model 601 (an old one, but still USB) which says most of the time: "Error\nCannot Connect TRF" and then the program and machine both shut down - once in a while when it does run, it eventually gives me a "device not ready" message. I cannot find "Error/nConnect TRF" on any of Cynthia's guides as to Nero burn errors.

When I try to burn with nero on my internal d drive burner it will burn about 75% and then all I get is massive "read errors" to the end.

Again, what bothers me is that I had none of these problems until I downloaded RI4M vs. 10.

Does anybody have any further advice or observations on this problem?

Error\nCannot Connect TRF

This is a Ner0 problem, try burning manually with Ner0, or better still give ImgBurn a go. Have you updated Nero recently as it seems whichever version you are using isn't compatible with Shrink, the errors are nothing to do with RI4M.

What media are you using? Make sure you are using decnt media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Read the Golden rules of burning, link in my sig.
