Hey Guys
I am new here, and I have a major problem thats costing me time and discs. I am also new to burning and ripping movies; having recently recieved a DVD burner from a relitive. I have read many FAQs on this subject and I have a little understanding on whats going on'
I have a Athon AMD 2400+ 2.0 G with 1.0 G of Ram with a Philips SolidBurn Dvd Burner 16x Dual Layer. The DVDRs I have tried are RetailPlus 2X 4.7G, Maxell 16X, Memorex 8X, Memorex 16X.
All of the movies or video files I burn are choppy video every 7-10 secs and turn out pixelated somewhat during fast scenes. The audio tends to 'click' while playing. I get this on all of the mediums above as well
I use Nero Vision 4 to burn, from what I was told it automatically transcodes it to the DVD format and then burns, but yet its always choppy. Having a friend burn it with the same version of NERO express and its turns out fine, but yet mine does not. Any answers would be greatly appreicated.
