    "illegal disk"

I enjoyed the luxery of burning with nero suite and shrink for a long time, then all of a sudden i started to get error messages. I deleted everything and started from scratch. After reconfiguring I receive an error message every time I tried burning into blank DVDs. The tryed using one of the old blanks (memorex 8x) that I used before and it worked fine but the new ones (Memorex 16x) get an "illegal disk" message. The worst part is I can't find the old dvds anywhere for purchase. PLEASE HELP!

    here is the error message:

well it's about time for a new burner but that one was a good one

I downloaded liggy's modified firmware 205C for the 2510(same drive)
    it supports that mid(cmcmag)

    third down from top

it's a bin file you will have to extract it and binflash(bottom left) to as folder
on your desk top then upgrade your firmware

I would do it in safe mode, no disks in drive

be sure and use the win32gui version of binflah
