    Question regarding DVD Burning

my DVD burner was pretty reliable but today something odd happened. I was copying Ant Bully and the process up until the actual burning was kist like it was before but when i did the burning,it took 22 minutes to burn. Usually it only takes 9. Is this a virus that might be causing that? or is it due to the Burner starting to give up? i have had this computer for over 2 1/2 years so i just wanted your opinion. Thanks.

What program did you burn with?? If you burned with Nero, then see in my signature on how to attach your last Nero (burn) Log.

Try looking in program files / Dvd Decrypter / DVDD log.

                    Adjust your settings.

Make sure you have this done & then you will have a log for us from the next time you burn.

put a blank in and post the right screen w/o burning

show us the mid code of your blanks and your firmware

                          ok

unfortuneately i didn;t realize i had "overwrite log" checked and i accidentally turned on decrypter and it overwrote the .txt i was going to send. anyway, can you tell me how to change the burning speed in Decrypter? maybe that is the problem.

never mind. i have it set for Max. anyway,i don;t know what the problem is. Seems like it'll play fine but when i keep the blank in the drive and turn on DVD Decrypter,i'll get an I/O error even though i burned it successfully. I think this burner is shot.
