HELP! My dvd shrink isn't working. Burning problem

maybe the transonic disks switched mid codes

do you have a log where they worked? I would like to see that.

your firmware is 3 years old and that media is totally unknown and nero is out of date

the fact that it's trying to burn dvd-r media at a dvd+r speed(2.4x)

what other disks can you get?

Sorry I don't have a log where they worked. I forgot to mention this - Yesterday I burned a dvd successfully because i was using a dvd from an old lot (same brand) now today I tried to burn dvds frm my current lot and haven't had luck. I've used my friend's dvd burner and I've been successful burning onto those dvds.

What should I do with firmware and burn speed etc, please help me out. Thanks a lot

the top line 2.0A is the newest firmware for your drive, read a bit
you'll need binflash(bottom left), put both extracted firmware and it in a folder on your desktop, boot into safe mode and update the empty drive

upgrade nero from here

Talk about blank DVD media, burning and hardware related problems

if that doesn't work give the disks to your buddy and buy some brandname ones
