    Need Help Badly

Hi I am having problems playing a DVD in my home player. I know how to use Ripit4me DVD decrypter and Shrink. For awhile I used to be able to burn and play DVD's in my home player, sometimes with a bad burn to where my player dosen't read it.

Now I cannot burn a DVD at all. My PC has no problem reading it but when I try my house player nothing. My Pc DVD player is a Dynex burner, don't laugh too much LOL. I tried to do the bitsetting but I think my burner is not capable of it.

Ripit4me, Decrypter, Shrink have no errors or nothing when I rip and burn, just taking it to another player. I also tried different media, was using some Sony DVD+R's then I went out and got some Verbatim DVD+R's. I am racking my brain on this do I need a new burner perhaps????? Please tell me to go to Newegg and get a new burner plz. LOL

Sorry for the long post but I need some desperate help.

I tried it in my SUV, I have a DVD player in there a Panasonic one. Still does not recognize the disc gives me a Disc Format error. So I guess it is time for a new PC DVD burner.

Still no dice, Is there a way to set it to bitsetting, although I think my burner does not allow it. I thought maybe some 3rd party software to try to force it.

                    any other suggestions.??

go to newegg and get a new burner

bitsetting is always a pain tho, only some do out of the box, most do with a little work

                            Hi RocketDogg,

Just out of curiosity what brand is your home dvd-player?

                            G!

It is an Onkyo, I used to burn DVD's and then it would read it but now I burn and it won't read anything I burn.
